SoulTribe

Meet SoulTribe —  the Chicago-based R&B, Soul, and Funk band renowned for their innovative covers that seamlessly blend genres into fresh, infectious grooves. Fronted by the soulful vocals of AJ Grayce and backed by four seasoned multi-instrumentalists with over two decades of combined experience.

Fresh off successful releases of their singles “Gravity” and “Crown (Live)” SoulTribe has built momentum selling out Reggie’s Music Joint in April and launching a monthly open mic series on the Southside of Chicago.

Whether an intimate acoustic set or large festival stages, Soul Tribe delivers performances that resonate with audiences. Their eclectic mix of beloved covers and captivating originals creates an unforgettable experience that moves the soul and keeps the crowd engaged.

Uniting Voices (Formerly known as Chicago Children’s Choir)

Uniting Voices is a nonprofit organization that empowers and unites youth from diverse backgrounds to find their voice and celebrate their common humanity through the power of music.

Founded at the dawn of the Civil Rights Movement on the South side of Chicago, Uniting Voices has grown from one community-based choir into a vast network of school-based and after-school programs that serve thousands of youth from every zip code of Chicago and beyond.

With its vision of a harmonious world, Uniting Voices has impacted the lives of tens of thousands of diverse youth throughout its history. Since its founding in 1956, the organization has built programs that reflect the racial and economic diversity of Chicago. Eighty percent of the youth it serves are from low-to-moderate income households. High school seniors enrolled in its choir programs have a 100 percent graduation and college acceptance rate, and they go on to become global ambassadors who embody Uniting Voices’ core values of education, expression, and excellence in a wide array of professional fields.

MOYA Dance and Drum

MOYA educates through electrifying drum and dance! We guarantee to integrate state learning goals while bringing Africa to you through creative songs, dance, storytelling, and audience participation. MOYA is a West African term from the Mandingo Ancestry, meaning “Family.”

MOYA’s mission is to cultivate minds and uplift youth through Afri-tainment, which affirms our dedication to attaining success through knowledge and understanding of the rich African culture using entertainment as our catalyst.

Vai Shakoor

Vai’s Shakoor’s mission is to continue making progress through poetry, using her voice to shed light on critical issues such as sexual assault awareness, body positivity, and mental health. With her powerful words and unwavering dedication, she remains a force for change in both the spoken word community and beyond.

Beyond the stage, Vai is dedicated to using her art as a catalyst for change. She has worked with group homes and juvenile detention centers, bringing poetry as a form of healing and self-expression to young people in need. She is also involved with organizations that support the re-entry of formerly incarcerated individuals, helping them find their voices and reintegrate into society.

Vai’s mission is to continue making progress through poetry, using her voice to shed light on critical issues such as sexual assault awareness, body positivity, and mental health. With her powerful words and unwavering dedication, she remains a force for change in both the spoken word community and beyond.

Frank Lee – “Soulful Singer”

With a passion for good music that transcends generations, Frank Lee is a classically trained vocalist who brings a rich, soulful sound to every performance. Drawing inspiration from the iconic Motown era, he delights audiences with timeless classics from legends like The Temptations, Marvin Gaye, and Donny Hathaway. 

But Frank’s repertoire doesn’t stop there! He also celebrates the golden eras of music, channeling the smooth stylings of Nat King Cole, the charisma of Frank Sinatra, the rock ‘n’ roll spirit of Elvis, and the unforgettable melodies of The Beatles. In addition to these vintage gems, Frank embraces modern classics with a dynamic flair, covering favorites from Maroon 5, Cee-Lo Green, and D’Angelo.

Whether performing solo or captivating crowds with his band, The Feel Goods, Frank creates an unforgettable musical experience that resonates with audiences of all ages. Get ready to be swept away by soulful melodies and heartfelt performances that celebrate the beauty of music!

TOG Footworking

 Jalen Barnes is a multi-genre producer and DJ, actively pushing footwork, hip-hop and bass music intentionally with his undefeated footwork crew: Takeova Global. He is a young heavy-hitter of Footwork. Be sure to visit their social media pages to learn more.
